  18. Windows NT does not allow you to make multiple connections to a shared
  19. network resource if you attempt to use more than one set of
  20. credentials. If you attempt to make two or more connections to the
  21. same resource using two or more sets of credentials, you will receive
  22. the following error message:

  24.    The credentials supplied conflict with an existing set of credentials.

  26. MORE INFORMATION

  29. A set of credentials consists of a user name and a password. Both File
  30. Manager and NET USE allow you to specify a parameter that designates
  31. which user account you want to use when you connect to a resource. If
  32. you make a connection to a resource using one account, then make
  33. another connection to the same resource using a different account
  34. (with the first connection still intact), you will receive the above
  35. error message. To make the connection with the other account,
  36. disconnect the previous connection(s) to the resource.

  38. Steps to Reproduce Problem
  39. --------------------------

  41. 1. Using File Manager, connect to a share on another machine. Do not
  42.    type anything in the Connect As field.
  43.  
  44. 2. Establish a second, separate connection to the same share. This
  45.    time, specify an account in the Connect As field. This account must 
  46.    be different than the one with which you are currently logged on.

  48. 3. Choose OK.

  50. You will receive the above error message.
